At long last I obtained my copy of this 1940 classic. (Managed to get a first edition.) It's in Gracie's words, but if I remember correctly, it was ghostwritten by George Burns. The book is chock full of her campaign promises and why she thinks it's time for a woman president. Ex: "Mr. Roosevelt has been sitting in the president's chair for two terms. It's time for him to stand up and let a woman sit down." She promised unemployment for everyone among other things. It was a riot.
Looking forward to getting Burns' book I Love Her, That's Why!
