I had tickets, and was just too tired to go. Fortunately, I've seen it 3 times on the big screen. I did catch The Godfather at Cinemark the next week & will view Godfather II later this month. The art museum is having a host of classic noirs next weekend.
A big plus to the whole event was the intro by Robert Osborne.
As was also able to see The Wizard of Oz, several years ago.
We took the three youngest girls who loved it.
Saw it on the big screen in my home town at an Arts Festival. Twas magical. Lovely getting that sense of an audience. Some bits they laughed at which till then I had never thought as funny. I could go through life attending such things.
