16. Supernatural - Pre-Code (1933) horror film starring Carole Lombard and Randolph Scott. Roma Courtenay (Lombard) is possessed by the spirit of executed murderer Ruth Rogen, who has one more man she wants to kill. I have always wanted to see this, and here it is:
HAVE Always wanted to see this film. Did you enjoy it, Rosie? Thanks for the link. I must try to catch it.
I haven't watched it yet, Karen. But I will one of these days soon.
Watched young Carole in Man of the World a few days ago - also starred William Powell. They married shortly after making this film around 1931. He late 40s, she 21.
17. 36 Hours (1965)- WW2 spy thriller starring James Garner, Eva Marie Saint, Rod Taylor.
The year is 1950, the War is over and the Allies are the victors.
.U.S Intelligence Officer Major Jefferson Pike (James Garner) is an amnesia patient in a U.S military hospital based in Germany awakes not knowing who he really is, where he is, how he got there and who the nurse is caring for him who professes to be his wife.
During long consultations with the American doctor about his episodes of amnesia in the past six years, increasingly Pike becomes apprehensive and sceptical realising things are not what they seem.
Plot sounds interesting and good cast.
Have we stalled in this game? I can't think of any more?
Do we want to try another quick game prior to the July 20 finish-line?
Think I had one. Movies featuring a circus, for example.
But of course Rosie, if you have something else in mind....let us know. or if you have more of this game? I can wrack my brain a bit more.
Yes I did. Thanks John Frederick. I replied via your email (as that was what I was using at the time)
Hopefully we hear from Rosie soon, regarding The Game. Don't want to start a new game without her.
(She messaged me on Facebook recently so hopefully she's received a message I sent her there re GAOH)
Hi, sorry for my tardiness. Sure, let's go for another category. The circus theme sounds good. We did it before but LONG ago.
